Title: Was Yoon an important character?
Post by: HawkThePirate on May 21, 2014, 08:21:59 PM
I know I ask a lot of questions, but that is the main reason I joined the forum. So the question is, was Yoon once an important character? I know he was originally the one who got kidnapped by the Falcar, but there is also a conditional switch called "Yoon's Intro". Does anyone who played the earlier version of the game, or supershigi, know what this is? If Yoon ever had any importance in the game, it seems to be gone now, but as I said on my intro page, my goal here is to learn everything about the past and present of the game. Thank you to anyone in advance who is kind enough to answer!    :balloon:

Yes, Yoon used to be more important... But most of the ideas I had for him were only in writing and not actually implemented into the game. Originally I had planned it so that he could be a member of the party... The players also would have stayed in Leeble Village for a longer amount of time. And during this segment, I was planning on having Yoon become interested in Aero, though she did not feel the same about him.
(For reasons that you know if you've watched the latter cutscenes)

Additionally, as you discovered, Yoon was originally the one that got kidnapped by the Falcar, and Aero would have been in your party to go rescue him. I changed that because I wanted to develop the relationship between Achaius and Aero, as well as Achaius and Dominic... and I figured it'd be better to do that with Aero being kidnapped.

I have read the latter cutscenes, so I do understand.  ;)
Thank you for answering!
