Wow, your story sounds really cool Lysaea!!its funny how closely related our characters are haha.  Also, I'll maybe send you some scenes after I finish developing the characters and such if you are willing to read it  :P

I'd love a proportions chart to be honest. My style is kinda cartoonish with a teeny tiny bit of realistic elements, but a proportions chart sounds amazing. Thank you for your kind words too Campnoodles!!!

I started planning and writing a new story, I decided to start drawing out some possible characters!

Spoiler for Hiden:
A bandit girl, shes only a possible character, I'm unsure as of now.

Spoiler for Hiden:
He goes by the name "The Stag King". He doesn't have a name right now, but he's like a forest spriggan and can control the roots in the ground.

Spoiler for Hiden:
She goes by "The Wisp Queen". She is the queen of a people called the wisps, she is can only be killed from fire.

Spoiler for Hiden:
He's basically the main guy. He's from a northern kingdom, he falls in love with the wisp queen and they have a baby before she dies.

Spoiler for Hiden:
She lives among the dragons. Her people try to imitate dragons because they basically worship them, so that explains her clothes. Those are supposed to be dragon wings  :P

I know how hard is is to keep pushing but it always gets better, I promise  it probably sounds cliche.. But it is true!

I really love your art style! And all of your ink drawings (especially Leo) are amazing! I've always wanted to be good at ink but I can never seem to get shading right, but you make it look easy haha

It's only been over a year, not too long right?  :D I've been away for a while but I started picking up drawing again, I regret stopping in the first place. Also, I discovered those cool shading pencil things and now I'm addicted! Sorry if the pictures are low quality, I tried.
Spoiler for Hiden:
This one was a cool idea but didn't turn out the way I wanted!  :(
Spoiler for Hiden:
A cute couple. I'm not lonely.. :ld:
Spoiler for Hiden:
Random person with disgusting hands!  :P

Creative Works / Share A Bit Of Your Stories!

Hello, I'm back here after maybe about a year of inactivity, I apologise! *bow*

Anyways, I wondered one day about the many writers that may be hiding in this community, and it motivated me to create this thread, where you can showcase your own creative stories to those who may not know them!
Whether it's a short summary of your entire story, or maybe just a sneak peak of a chapter you've been working on, I'd love to hear what your witty minds can think of!  :P  And to all of those currently writing their own creative stories, I bid you good luck on your enchanting adventures in the realm of fiction!

Winter is nice and all, but colds are just the worst  :(

Anyway, I usually just sit back and relax, play some games, drink lots of water, blah blah
And if that headache is just killing me, sleep it off  :P

That sounds nice~ haha  :)

My main New Year's resolution is probably to try to stay with the projects and hobbies I start instead of abandoning them.. I have a nasty habit of doing that. I'd also like to stay motivated for many of these hobbies.

Happy New Years everyone! All the best in 2016~!

General Discussion / Re: Novel writing/written?
« on: April 08, 2015, 10:36:03 PM »
I've just started my first attempt on novel writing. It's going to be a modern fantasy tale with many moments that will (hopefully) touch the hearts of the readers and pull their heart strings. I've always loved writing, but I never seemed to have the motivation to write a full novel. Turns out to be quite a fun time!  :)

And to all of the other writers of the community, I bid you good luck in your novel-writing experiences.

I'm kinda terrified of heights and rollercoasters... Every year in my city there's a fair/carnival that takes place for around a week or so, and I always get asked to go. Something always comes up and I don't have to go, which is a win/lose situation because I really like everything else; food, games, the general atmosphere. But yeah, I can't do those kind of things because I also have a fear of vomiting (I start shaking whenever I feel very nauseous and have panic attacks). Don't even get me started on those tower-drop rides...
