Gonna join, gotta relearn unity entirely.

As for a theme, picking a word at random, "interference"

Wow, I'm so happy to see so many folks participating this year! And I'm really excited to see what folks come up with this time around... I'll have the poll up tomorrow, and voting will begin then!

Okay everyone, the poll is now up for voting!

You have until January 31st at 11:59pm PST to get your vote in, and each person has up to 3 votes (you don't have to use all 3). If you haven't yet signed up for the jam, you're still welcome to join (just post here and I'll add you to the list)! Good luck and have fun^^

Feel free to use this thread to discuss the various themes if you'd like!

@kami: Not too late to vote for your favorite nominated theme

Let me try my hand at this jam thingie.

I'll definitely join in the jam. And I'll nominate Bufkus, because the idea of a load of Bufkus spin-off titles is simply delightful.
I definitely can get behind the Bufkus theme :D

Good luck all
*hugs*

Attention all Leebles, your theme for the 2019 Leeble Game Jam is... "Wishes"

And as with previous years, I've decided to include an optional sub-theme: Bufkus!!

The Jam officially begins tomorrow, February 1st, 2019 (or tonight at midnight if you're so inclined) so good luck to everyone participating!

Don't forget that everyone participating in the Jam is invited to make their own project thread in the Dev Logs section which you can update throughout (and even after) the event if you'd like. Feel free to post any questions you have here, and most importantly: have fun!

Sorry, I'm out. During the last month, I couldn't even get to start working on the game, yet about finishing it. Last year I whipped something up quickly in the last few hours, but remembering the immerse shame of putting out an unplayable game for a month-long game jam, I won't do it again. My standards are now higher than that.

I got a new job, which is a great thing, but it also means that now I have no free time or private life. It seems you can only have time or money in life, but not both at once. This is a huge problem for me.

Hope I will be able to truly participate in the next jam. (If I won't be banned for flaking out on this one.)

It seems you can only have time or money in life, but not both at once. This is a huge problem for me.

That's why more and more people talk about the Basic Income Grant. There aren't enough jobs for everyone, so the salaries drop and the working conditions worsen until history repeats itself and a revolution happens. The BIG would turn the tables. We can provide for everyone's needs, but not for everyone's greed, hence capitalism preaches that making money has to be tough.
